Kristen Shively Johnson

Kristen Johnson joined CVDL in 2017 after clerking at the Supreme Court of Missouri for the Honorable Mary R. Russell.  Kristen has experience in appellate work and governmental issues.

Kristen is a Jefferson City native and an alumnus of Trinity Lutheran School and Jefferson City High School.  After graduating from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish, she attended the University of Missouri School of Law.  During law school, Kristen was an Associate Editor of the Missouri Law Review and participated in the Family Violence Clinic.  She also worked as a law clerk at CVDL during her second and third summers of law school.

After graduating with her J.D., Kristen returned to Jefferson City where she resides with her husband, Austin, and their family of furry, four-legged friends.  Kristen is active in the community and currently serves as the local service chair for Jefferson City Rotaract.
