Banking
CVDL has represented banks and bankers throughout Missouri in virtually all aspects of banking law for decades.
We defend lender liability claims, represent bank creditors in bankruptcy cases and represent banks as trustees in trust litigation and in prosecuting claims under bankers blanket bonds and insurance policies.
We are also involved in the legal “nuts and bolts” of banking under the Uniform Commercial Code. We assist banks in drafting loan documentation including the preparation and the perfection of security interests.
CVDL has represented banks and bank officers in matters involving bank regulators and in defending claims of employment discrimination and other employment matters.
We have assisted banks and financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions as well as compliance with general corporate law matters.
We have helped banks defend against consumer class actions and to prosecute claims against other companies for fraud or improper business practices.
