Governmental and Administrative Law
Jefferson City is where the State’s business gets done. Every elected state official and almost every state agency has its principal office in Jefferson City. The Circuit Court of Cole County, Missouri, located two blocks from our office, is a forum that hears many cases involving state governmental rights and obligations. Many administrative law matters must be heard in Jefferson City.
Over the years, we have been involved in many high profile and significant matters, encompassing a wide variety of state entities and subjects. We enjoy analyzing complex issues and helping clients and other lawyers navigate the ins and outs of governmental and administrative law issues.
Some of the matters with which we have experience include:

- ballot title disputes and other litigation involving initiative petitions
- challenges to, and defense of, state statutes and regulations
- Sunshine Law requests and litigation
