April 1, 2021 marked the 55th anniversary of CVDL. The firm was founded April 1, 1966 by Howard Winston Cook (d. 1976) and Thomas A. Vetter. Current attorneys and employees gathered to toast to Mr. Vetter through a virtual appearance from his home in Florida. Cook and Vetter established the foundation for the firm that it has maintained and carried into the future:
